Who I Am

My Purpose

As your doula, I will draw on my knowledge and experience to provide emotional support, physical comfort and information to help you make informed decisions during labor. As your doula, I can provide reassurance and perspective to you and your partner, make suggestions for labor progress, and help with relaxation, massage, positioning and other techniques for comfort. I work for you, not your caregiver or hospital. 

Aspirations

What made me become a Doula is my love for the moms like me, giving them the support, option, and heart-warming experience to have their baby in the comfort that they demand and deserve. I feel like as a mother who didn't get to experience a home birth or have the support for my first child, with knowledge that I've gain, it's my destiny to share it with others. I believe any woman should give birth where she feels safest, empowered, and educated to make the best decision for her and her family. My purpose is to provide moms the security of a safe, loving, healthy birthing experience. Assisting moms during one of the most amazing times in their lives, providing valuable knowledge, helping them to create that bond and beautiful experience with their babies. Becoming a doula is giving mom's and families a moment to cherish, that'll they'll never forget. It's motivating all mothers who want to endure having a beautiful , all natural, deep rooted home birth at their FREEDOM!

Postpartum services deluxe: 48 hours of after birth care

Your options of 3 home care postpartum duties are listed below:

*Help with laundry (mom pays if I have to service at Laundromat) - (3 loads maximum) folding optional

*2 cooked meals a day (Breakfast , Lunch or Dinner)

*Home cleaning services

*Grocery shopping

*Baby shower planning and set up

*Other children birthdays/decorate assistance

*Care for the baby at home while mom sleeps/rest. (Care of other children is an option upon discussion).

All packages include 3 afterbirth healing cool gel pads.
For additional, prices may vary.

All Payments can be broken into 2 payments.

Full payment is due within 4 weeks. Half is due at the time of agreement. Deposit is NOT refundable if you have a change of plans. If unable to pay the remaining balance , I will have to end the agreement. If you pay the full balance and services aren't met due to me or my doula team, you will receive a FULL REFUND. If you pay the full balance and services aren't met due to YOU, you will NOT receive a REFUND.

Toni Burton - Birth Doula /Lactation Community Counselor

Born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. My name is Toni Burton. I am a Birth Doula as of 4 1/2 years now. I am also a trained Lactation Community Counselor. I am a Mom of 5 and I've been home birthing since 2018. I have 5 water/lotus birth experiences under my belt. Three of my own and the others non related. As of today my birthing experience is growing. I believe my role is to support families throughout their pregnancy journey, supporting mom and baby physically , mentally and emotionally. Educating and advocating moms and families on what their rights are. With Starseed Doula Care moms leave the nest feeling embodied, beautiful, educated, confident, like super woman and empowered. I support the birth YOU choose.
